This seems so familiar. In my 1st grade class at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School I kept a picture of my family in a box of well-sorted school supplies to remind me that the misery of the school day would end and I would eventually be allowed to see them again. That same sentiment lasted until school was voluntary and I was much, much older.
